I was recently sent to Gwynedd Rehab by Lansdale Abington Jefferson Hospital following an admission there for a seizure I suffered, which required continued treatment.

This letter is written to you to commend your staff. Lia Cooper, Janine and Lana were sent by God to assist me with my recovery from a sciatica diagnosis. Their loving care cannot by expressed in words. I will never forget the excellent medical care and loving encouragement you provided. Lana was always ready to assist me during the night with quick responses to my many needs while enduring very painful attacks from sciatica. I will also never forget Janine, she always came to my assistance quickly with a happy, loving greeting.

The 5 Star rating given to Gwynedd Square Rehab is well deserved. Thank you to all those, including Physical Therapy, who provided me with excellent care while a patient in your facility.

Sincerely,

“I tell all my friends about how wonderful it is here” says Myrtle, and true to her word – when a close friend recently fractured her hip, she chose to rehab at Gwynedd – upon Myrtle’s recommendation.

“Hands down, Gwynedd’s got the best staff – they give excellent care. There was nowhere else I wanted to go for therapy!”

Short-Term Resident at Gwynedd

Katherine assumes the position previously held by Gail Munley, who was recently promoted to Assistant Administrator. Gail, an integral part of Gwynedd for 25 years, originally joined the nursing field because she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. In her new role, Gail aspires for the staff to see each resident as a unique individual, and to work together to assist residents in achieving their highest possible level of wellbeing and independence.

Her goal is to utilize the strengths of our residents, tailoring activities to suit the varying needs of both our short-term and long-term populations. To that end she has expanded our popular Friendship Circle, scheduling a second session in the afternoon for the rehab patients who are in therapy during the morning session.

“I am very fortunate to have found a career that I find satisfaction in . . . and it’s the gratitude of the residents that continues to drive me.”
